I am literally paralyzed by the sumptuousness of fall clothing this year, loves. Literally. Awestruck. Paralyzed.
I’ve been immersed in all things fall fashion and beauty for over a week, drinking in (lapping up?!) the maddeningly beautiful glossy pages of W, Bazaar, InStyle, Vogue, not to mention the street styles gracing blogs across the world and the virtual images of Fashion Week Shows spanning the globe.
It’s full on luxe overload. Can’t get enough. Thousands of pages swirling with every luscious autumn trend from punk inspired boots, to moto cool jackets, to pinks, cobalts, wines, blacks, quilted, studded, chained, fur, leather, plaid, feathers. In the words of Carrie Bradshaw upon discovering those vintage Mary Janes in the mythical Vogue accessories closet. . . it’s just too good.
For the moment, respect must be paid to these four women I cannot get out of my mind for all their cool sexiness and hot presence this season.
Kate Moss, of course. How insane are these Stuart Weitzman boots with that feathery fur jacket. Some version of these items must be obtained.
Nicole Kidman in T strap Jimmy Choo shoes. From her drop dead sexy crop to the white shirt, oversized leather clutch, and those ridiculously good Choos, I could seriously cry.
SJP on the cover of Bazaar September issue. Sarah Jessica brings happiness to haute couture and I’m grateful to her for it every season.
Erin Wasson in InStyle magazine’s September issue (I beg of you, pick it up if only to see her in the Gucci dress that I cannot seem to find images of elsewhere). She’s got more than 20 tattoos, she rocks skateboarding, surfing and her style used to include gobs of gold jewelry to rival Mr. T. Now she’s sophisticated sexy and has got insanely cool minimal style fashion sense. Can’t wait to see her on Styled to Rock.
Until I can come up for air again, have a wickedly fabulous day, loves.
